It's All About Me

Healing

A happy sound; the peel of laughter from a child

A smile that reaches up into the eyes

A warm embrace to keep you warm

A look that say more that words ever could

I breathe deep and feel the air fill my chest and feed my lungs

My heart pumps and by blood flows through corridors of rushing cells

I sleep knowing that when I wake, I will have healed

Brittle

Where lies the beating heart

Smooth and warm?

Beneath this skin and bone

Withered and brittle with age.

Touch

Flowers in the moonlight rise

Floating on a river of blood

Reach out to touch the gentle leaf

Breathe across the open lake

Simple

What was the trigger that put pen to paper? When did the need to speak begin?

Sometimes these things come easily; at other times forced, ungrateful.

Simplicity is sometimes complicated. How it is received will be its testament.

The Magic iPad Double Finger Scroll

I love my iPad but just sometimes it seems buggy or non-intuitive.

Two sites I use regularly use styling to reduce the visible area of a table and display a scroll bar to the side to access all rows.

On the iPad, however, the scroll bar isn’t visible. This resulted in frustration as I found the benefit of using the iPad while mobile reduced.

A little investigation online showed me a solution - interaction with these scrollable tables is through a two finger scroll.

Simple, effective, quirky and quite probably mentioned in the user guide.

Something learnt today, tick!
